Full Time Remote Python Developer opening now available.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Python/Flask Full Stack Software Engineer to create and enhance business-critical applications that support day-to-day operations in Brandon, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full development lifecycle, from building backend services and intuitive front-end experiences to connecting key business platforms and improving internal workflows. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing hands-on engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and support end-to-end web solutions using Python with Flask for server-side development and React.js for modern user interfaces.

• Architect and refine APIs that enable reliable communication between internal applications and external business platforms, including REST-based services and GraphQL when appropriate.

• Design database structures, manage data models, and improve query performance within PostgreSQL environments.

• Develop and maintain integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft 365, Power Platform tools, and Azure-based services to streamline business operations.

• Deliver internal applications that address operational needs such as inventory tracking, order workflows, reporting capabilities, and e-commerce support functions.

• Partner with teams across operations, sales, finance, and IT to translate business needs into practical, user-focused technical solutions.

• Investigate application issues, resolve defects, and implement enhancements that improve stability, usability, and performance.

• Contribute to peer reviews, technical documentation, and shared engineering practices that strengthen collaboration within a small development team.

• Provide technical assistance on broader company technology efforts when additional engineering support is needed.

• At least 5 years of experience in full stack software engineering or a closely related position.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and the Flask framework for backend application development.
• Proven ability to build front-end applications with React.js; experience with TypeScript is preferred.
• Solid background in PostgreSQL, including schema design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable enterprise business systems is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Git, Docker, and CI/CD concepts is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
