Overview
This is an immediate 3+ month freelance engagement to start ASAP. Freelancers will be considered for contract extension as well as conversion to fulltime based on performance and budget.
We're looking for a Community Manager & Content Publisher (aka Social Analyst) to join our growing Social Content & Engagement Strategy discipline at Razorfish. In this role, you'll be embedded with a leading global streaming platform client - home to award-winning originals, fan-favorite series, documentaries, and blockbuster films.
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of culture, fandom, and storytelling. You'll help manage a vibrant community of more than 50 million fans across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and X; publishing platform-native content, sparking meaningful conversations, and leveraging insights to make every post smarter than the last.
If you're passionate about social media, fluent in digital culture, and eager to contribute both creatively and analytically, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
Community & Engagement:
  • Lead day-to-day community management across 9+ brand channels.
  • Monitor conversations, identify engagement opportunities, and authentically connect with fans to increase reach and positive sentiment.
  • Support crisis management protocols, escalating issues as needed to ensure brand safety.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and, with manager guidance, communicate directly with talent and representatives when capturing content.

  • Publish error-free posts across social platforms, ensuring correct tagging, grammar, and optimization.
  • QC all content pre- and post-publish to maintain brand standards.
  • Manage social calendars and log assets via Monday.com.
  • Create simple video and photo edits to fulfill campaign needs and bring content to life.
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy tailored to each platform.

Creative Campaign Support:
  • Support content development during launches, premieres, and cultural tentpoles.
  • Contribute input on creative briefs and campaign concepts under manager guidance.
  • Pitch creative concepts that align with brand tone, fandom culture, and campaign strategies.
  • Write engaging, on-brand post copy tailored to each platform.
  • Consistently participate in team brainstorms, offering trend-aware ideas.

Analytics & Insights:
  • Partner with Insights team to develop reports on sentiment, share of voice, and audience reception.
  • Use social listening tools to identify conversation trends, cultural moments, and optimization opportunities.
  • Apply learnings to continuously improve engagement strategies and content development.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media, community management, or content strategy (entertainment, media, or agency background preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Meta, and X including trends, formats, and fan behaviors.
  • Strong understanding of social platform strategy with ability to implement it on a post-by-post level.
  • Proficiency with social publishing and analytics tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, ListenFirst, Netbase/Quid, Monday.com).
  • Basic content creation skills (simple photo and video editing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for engaging, on-brand copy.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to support nights/weekends for premieres and cultural moments.
