Description

We are seeking a Contracts Support Specialist to provide acquisition and contract administration support for the Twilight Systems Integration (SI) Contract, assisting with activities across the full contract lifecycle. This role supports the preparation, execution, and management of contract actions under the direction of senior contracts personnel and Contracting Officers. Responsibilities follow established processes and involve supporting moderately complex tasks and documentation requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist in preparing acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, ARC postings, file checklists, and portions of Source Selection Plans.
•    Collect and organize inputs for solicitations, RFP packages, and review briefings.
•    Route documents for coordination and approval using established workflows.
•    Prepare administrative elements of contract awards and modifications within Government contract-writing systems under senior supervision.
•    Verify accuracy of clause references, attachments, and required documentation.
•    Support routing, approval tracking, and finalization of contract packages.
•    Maintain electronic contract files according to Government documentation standards.
•    Assist with invoice package review, identifying basic discrepancies, and coordinating with financial personnel.
•    Track deliverables, modifications, and contractual correspondence using Government tools.
•    Support scheduling, meeting coordination, document formatting, action item tracking, and other contract-related administrative functions.
•    Develop simple Excel-based trackers and logs to support contract monitoring and reporting.
•    Assist with contract closeout by assembling required documentation and confirming administrative completeness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years.
  • Foundational understanding of federal acquisition processes and terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a contracts support team, with interactions primarily internal to the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal contracting or acquisition functions.
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or federal contract-writing systems.
  • Exposure to cost/price analysis concepts or solicitation package development.
  • Experience with Excel trackers, SharePoint, and workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira for documentation, workflow tracking, or collaboration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NRO or IC contracting environments is beneficial but not required.
