Job description

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be supporting the Order Review process for our Integrated Processing Solutions Division. Your understanding of the government contracting process will be instrumental in driving Sales and Operational alignment. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a hands-on, "roll up your sleeves" approach.

Your high-spirited and curious nature inspires others to embrace change, while your strong communication skills turn ambiguity into structure. You dissect challenges with precision, chart the best course of action, and drive resolution with speed and clarity.

Fueled by a strong work ethic and a bias for action, you're not afraid to challenge the status quo-identifying what's broken so it can be rebuilt stronger, and amplifying what works so it can scale smarter. Your leadership ensures that our order services function isn't just reactive-it's a strategic engine for growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order processing of direct Government and Prime purchase orders with a strong interface to Sales Operations, Customers, Program Management, Operations, Finance, and other departments as required.
  • Review all incoming orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company bookings and revenue recognition guidelines
  • Accurately input awarded Values and Funding to establish revenue and invoicing amounts
  • Monitor Invoicing milestones and identify opportunities for billing
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to reason through ever-changing scenarios are necessities for this position.
  • Collaborate with peers and others to develop, enhance, and communicate operational processes and procedures in support of corporate objectives
  • Anticipate and identify issues and initiate actions to ensure orders are processed timely and efficiently
  • Lead and assist in special projects as assigned, preparing timely and accurate results
  • Participate in quarter-end by delivering exceptional customer service (internal and external) and ensuring orders are booked/processed within the quarter close deadlines
  • Ad-hoc reports, audits, and projects as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of experience within government contracting (or related), and a Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, Accounting or similar. Would also consider equivalent years of hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Up to 10% travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition rules
  • Oracle experience preferred
