Oracle Cloud Engineer

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve mission-critical applications and products? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems.

This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience, you'll work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.

You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.

Ready to transform the nation with cloud technology?

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience using software with a cloud-first development approach

  • 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on-premise or hybrid solutions

  • 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security

  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation

  • Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

  • Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions

  • Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation

  • Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI

  • Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings

  • Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads

  • Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments

  • Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

  • OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications

  • IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
