JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Title Warehouse Operator
Mon - Fri 8 AM - 4:30 PM, $18/hr
Reports to
Warehouse Manager
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  1. Understand the receiving process and how to store customer and in-house material.
  2. Be able to complete receiving reports accurately.
  3. Understand how to read "pick" lists and be able to select correct material for shipping.
  4. Be able to pack, band, and wrap material for shipping.
  5. Understanding all shipping functions in SAP and be able to use UPS World Ship and customer data base (LTL).
  6. Understand all customer routing guides and adhere to procedures.
  7. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
  8. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
  9. Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
  10. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

Skills and Competencies
  1. Technical Capacity
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift and stand up.
    • Must be able to operate equipment in a safe manner.
    • Must understand safety policies and rules.
    • Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
    • Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.

Work Environment :
The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
