Job description

Job Title: Operator I (Manufacturing)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 6:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $20.00 - $24.03/hourly *Depending on experience*


*Temporary 6 month Contract*


We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator I to support the production of sterile injectable pharmaceutical products in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for executing manufacturing operations, handling materials safely, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with SOPs, batch records, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.


The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows procedures exactly as written, takes documentation seriously, handles materials safely, and understands the importance of quality and compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with GMPs, SOPs, and production procedures.
  • Operate, monitor, clean, and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated job stability on resume.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and documentation practices.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing software (MES, HMI, Microsoft Office).
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to work overtime, shift schedules, and flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to work in controlled manufacturing environments and wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary.
