Job description

Job Title: SAP Project Manager
Job Location: Avon Lake, OH
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • 12–15 years of IT project management experience, preferably in SAP programs.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC or S/4HANA cross‑module concepts.
  • Proven experience managing onsite/offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage high‑pressure timelines and multi‑vendor environments.

1. Project Governance & Delivery

  • Lead end‑to‑end project execution for SAP migration/consolidation initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and communication frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to scope, milestones, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Serve as the primary onsite point‑of‑contact for client teams, business SMEs, and internal leadership.
  • Conduct daily stand‑ups, weekly reviews, and sponsor updates.
  • Present progress reports, risk assessments, and decision requirements.

3. Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with SAP functional and technical tracks (FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, Basis, Security, Data).
  • Manage deliverables and dependencies across onsite, offshore, and partner teams.
  • Support WRICEF planning, approvals, and design discussions as applicable.

4. Testing, Cutover, and Go‑Live Management

  • Oversee preparation and execution of testing cycles (SIT, UAT).
  • Drive cutover readiness, data validation, access enablement, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure smooth go‑live and hyper‑care stabilization.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain project documentation including MoMs, trackers, plans, change requests, and sign‑offs.
  • Ensure compliance with client methodology, PMO standards, and audit requirements.
