Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will evaluate patients, design individualized intervention plans, and deliver direct clinical care to support individuals with physical, cognitive, emotional, or developmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and implement goal-oriented, client-centered occupational therapy intervention plans.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor, assess, and document client progress using measurable outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery and skill development.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Convey treatment results, progress reports, and home program recommendations clearly to multidisciplinary team members, family members, and caregivers.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential electronic patient records in full compliance with state guidelines and clinic standards.
  • Clinic Care & Safety: Maintain a clean, hygienic, organized, and safe therapeutic environment using appropriate infection control procedures and equipment care.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active (or eligible for) Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maryland, plus NBCOT certification.
  • Experience: Prior clinical experience in occupational therapy or a related rehabilitation setting (pediatric, outpatient, or adult rehabilitation experience preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to quickly build rapport and trust with patients and families.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation and family education.
