Responsibilities - Create, review, and verify detailed mechanical drawing and design packages compliant with industry and military standards - Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter - Revise and ensure parametric drawings meet ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards - Conduct tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment verification on assembly prints - Liaise with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and vendors to ensure design integrity and manufacturability - Resolve GD&T interpretation issues and support drawing clarification - Supervise and direct staff activities, as needed - Meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - 2-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical CAD design - Proficiency in Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and 3D modeling - Solid understanding of GD&T and ASME drawing standards - Experience with tolerance analysis, hardware fitment, and assembly design - Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills - Proficient with Word, Excel, Windows Preferred Skills - Experience with CATIA - Exposure to vendor management and cross-functional team collaboration Benefits - Competitive hourly pay with contract-to-hire potential for long-term career growth - 9x80 work schedule for enhanced work-life balance - Gain exposure to advanced CAD software and industry-leading engineering practices - Collaborative, supportive onsite work environment How to Apply Ready to advance your mechanical CAD career?
