Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and production-ready Next.js / AEM Tech Lead to join a high-priority web implementation project. The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural expertise in Next.js App Router, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and server-side development, with the ability to lead technical design, optimize application performance, and enable development teams for rapid delivery.
The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the application's architecture, deployment strategy, and backend integration while mentoring React developers by abstracting complex server-side functionality into reusable and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise web applications using Next.js App Router and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Design and maintain scalable application architecture utilizing Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) for optimal performance.
  • Configure, secure, and optimize production hosting environments and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient deployments.
  • Build scalable backend integrations and abstract complex server-side logic, enabling frontend React developers to focus on UI component development.
  • Implement best practices for caching strategies, performance optimization, and application scalability.
  • Configure and manage Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policies and automatic cache validation mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions while maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience in web application development.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on architectural experience with Next.js App Router (App Directory architecture).
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Solid experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG).
  • Strong understanding of server-side development and backend integration.
  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and production deployment strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of caching mechanisms, cache invalidation strategies, and application performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
