Job description

Job Title: Roustabout and Rig Up/Rig Out

Location: Appalachian Basin

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Sideworx Connect is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for the position of Roustabout and Rig Up/Rig Out for Fracking in the Pennsylvania/Ohio/West Virginia area. This temporary role involves supporting the setup and teardown of fracturing equipment and general rig operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Rig Up/Rig Out: Assist in the assembly and disassembly of fracturing equipment and related components on the rig site.
  • Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Material Handling: Transport and handle materials and equipment as required, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the site for operations, including setup of rig components and ensuring readiness for fracturing activities.
  • General Labor: Support various tasks on the rig, including but not limited to, lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members and supervisors to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in oil & gas operations or a similar role is preferred.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging conditions.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to comply with all safety regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the job.
