Seeking a Sr Sharepoint Consultant to plan, implement/manage/migrate SharePoint, and integrate with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Teams.

MUST HAVE: Very good Collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate for this position has strong planning and operational experience with Sharepoint solutions with a desire to continue to explore emerging, cutting-edge technologies and services. This includes hands‑on experience with the latest SharePoint Online features, integration with Microsoft Teams, and implementation of Microsoft Copilot capabilities.

Good communication skills are necessary.

Work from Home - Client is on east coast, You can work anywhere in the continental USA (WFH).

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities
  • Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams to enhance collaboration and workflow efficiency.
  • Implement and customize Microsoft Copilot capabilities within SharePoint environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design AI‑driven solutions using Copilot and SharePoint.
  • Upgrade Sharepoint sites On‑Prem to newer version On‑Prem.
  • Provide Windows Admin as required for SharePoint migration and configuration.
  • Participate in assessing and evaluating existing SharePoint solutions, technical architecture, and workflows.
  • Architect SharePoint solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end‑to‑end technology solutions.
  • Design site taxonomy, hierarchy, security models, and site architectures.
  • Provide and apply modern SharePoint (SP) framework (SPFx), Power Automate/Flow, PowerApps/Forms, Power BI, and Azure subject‑matter expertise to automate and upgrade complex enterprise‑level business processes.
  • Migrate SharePoint sites On‑prem to SharePoint Online.
Required Skills
  • Minimum of Eight (8) years of demonstrated, hands‑on experience with SharePoint technologies as a Developer and Administrator.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot Studio and building Copilot‑enabled business solutions.
  • Minimum five (5) years of hand‑on, demonstrated experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, must have strong knowledge of Windows Admin, Active Directory, etc.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration projects to SP Online, OneDrive.
  • Must have experience with Sharepoint 2019 On‑Prem, and migrating to 2019 from earlier versions.
  • Must have experience with Installing, configuring SharePoint 2019/2016/2013 On‑Premises and integrating applications with SharePoint.
  • Experience with ULS Logs, workflows and other SharePoint related troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2019/2016/2012, VMware.
  • Hands‑on Power Platform (PowerApps and Power Automate) development experience.
  • Hands‑on experience rearchitecting legacy SharePoint Web Parts and Custom Applications for modern SharePoint‑hosted applications.
  • Daily administration tasks such as adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions. Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues.
  • Must have experience with and be able to provide guidance to developers that are coding in .Net Framework, C#, .Net Core, MVC, Angular JS and building modern web site experiences.
  • Software architecture and development (SDLC) experience with Project Management, implementation and Systems integration.
  • Functional knowledge with SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert are required.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Work will be done remotely at any location in the continental US. Work hours are US East Coast.
