JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Analytics & AI Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving advanced analytical and AI-enabled solutions that support critical business processes, including quoting, lease conversion, recalculations, customer billing, and lease settlements or terminations. This role partners with Client Success, Account Management, Business Development, and strategic clients or prospects to translate complex consulting needs into scalable analytical tools, predictive models, and actionable recommendations. As a senior individual contributor, this role serves as a subject matter expert for FleetLab initiatives, proprietary and industry data, operational and financial forecasting, benchmarking, and data-driven consulting solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Consultancy Intake & Prioritization: Manages and analyzes consultancy requests, including intake, approval, prioritization, development planning, and delivery of analytical solutions aligned to business and client needs.
  • Consulting Strategy Support: Partners with Business Development and client-facing teams to develop and implement consulting strategies for strategic prospects and clients.
  • Promotes Data Utilization for Decision-Making: Improves and promotes the use of proprietary and industry data, analytical tools, and benchmarking information to support fleet decision-making processes.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Leverages tools such as Python, SQL, Shell, Microsoft Power Platform, standard reporting software, and related analytical tools to extract, manipulate, format, and validate data for reporting and decision support.
  • Modeling & Predictive Analytics: Develops or collaborates on predictive ML models and analytical frameworks to identify cause-and-effect relationships, trends, operational performance factors, and forecasting opportunities.
  • Solution Development: Designs, tests, implements, and maintains analytical tools for critical calculations, including risk-based quoting, lease conversion, recalculations, customer billing, and lease settlements or terminations.
  • Actionable Recommendations: Interprets complex information and provides specific, logical, and data-supported recommendations based on fleet operations, client needs, and industry trends.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serves as a subject matter expert for internal clients on complex FleetLab topics, including vehicle contract enforcement, operational forecasting, financial forecasting, and analytics-enabled consulting solutions.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Guidance: Shares knowledge with internal stakeholders and external customers, providing guidance that facilitates decision-making and strengthens understanding of analytical outputs.
  • Benchmarking & Best Practices: Applies data mining techniques to gather relevant data sets for internal and external benchmarking and actively pursues analytics, AI, and technical best practices through formal and informal learning.
  • Project Planning & Delivery: Develops project requirements, analytical plans, timelines, testing approaches, documentation, and related materials to support timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Business Understanding: Maintains a comprehensive understanding of business operations, strategic objectives, fleet operations, and client success drivers to ensure analytical solutions are practical and business-relevant.

  • This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities. The role may provide day-to-day technical guidance, feedback, knowledge sharing, and analytical direction to internal stakeholders and project contributors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5)+ years in quantitative roles in Fleet Management, Financial Services, Banking, analytics, or a related field.
  • Two (2)+ years of experience developing analytical, AI, ML, or automation-enabled tools or solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrates advanced technical proficiency in using systems and data, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SQL, and standard reporting or analytics tools.
  • Python, SQL, ML, LLM, Microsoft Power Platform, and AI development framework experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including the ability to communicate with internal and external customers and present complex information with clarity, confidence, and meticulousness.
  • Demonstrated ability to tactfully manage multiple competing longer-term and shorter-term timelines while maintaining service excellence and high-quality deliverables.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Pay Range:
$80,600-$112,900
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
