Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aย Machine Operatorย to join a leading Company located in the Rancho Cucamonga, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate:ย 

Job Responsibilities: ย 
  • Conducts pre-operations inspections to ensure the machine is ready to be operatedย inย safeย and efficient manner.
  • Reads and executes daily production schedule as directed by supervisor.
  • Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.
  • Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
  • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machiningย andย adjusts machine controls or control media as required and reports problems to supervisor as necessary.
  • Verifies conformance of finishedย work pieceย to specifications and stops production if any part is detected to be out of specification.
  • Will confer with supervisor to resolve machining problems.
  • Produces daily production reports, inspectionsย andย other reports as directed by supervisor.
  • Must have an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintains a safeย andย organized workstation andย followsย all company policies and safety procedures.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experienceย inย operating what type of machines.
  • ย Ability to set up andย operatesย CNC machinery. Reporting toย Machineย Shopeย Department.
