Pay: $40-$45/hour
Job Type: Contract
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Marine Quality Technician for a contract opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Bentleyville, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with manufacturing inspection experience who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and ensuring products meet strict customer and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming inspections of materials, components, and assemblies
  • Review supplier certifications, inspection reports, and quality documentation
  • Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools
  • Document nonconformances and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Utilize SAP or similar quality management systems
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements
  • Support Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
  • Assist with calibration activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety, quality, and QMS procedures

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or quality assurance
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Strong knowledge of inspection tools and measurement equipment
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • High School Diploma/GED required; technical training preferred

Preferred Experience:
  • Marine, naval, defense, or heavy industrial manufacturing experience
  • Experience with FARO, Romer, or Keyence inspection systems
  • Knowledge of NDE methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT/X-Ray)
  • SAP or ERP/QMS system experience
  • Overhead crane and rigging experience
