Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer (Manual QA) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications by designing, executing, and maintaining test cases. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to identify defects and ensure high-quality software releases.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
  • Execute Smoke, Sanity, Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools.
  • Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger.
  • Validate UI, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Prepare test execution reports and release sign-off documentation.
  • Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC and STLC.
  • Support production validation after deployments.
