Job Title: Technical Lead AutoSys Migration On-premise to AWS
Job Location: Irvine, CA
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  1. Strategy Architecture Design and implement highly available scalable and secure AutoSys infrastructure in AWS
  2. Migration Execution Execute onpremise to AWS AutoSys migration including application servers database PostgreSQLOracle and client agents
  3. Configuration Optimization Configure AutoSys in the cloud to utilize AWSnative features migrate legacy job definitions into AWScompatible formats
  4. Automation Utilize AWS services eg AWS Lambda Terraform CloudFormation to automate the migration process and infrastructure provisioning
  5. Documentation Testing Prepare detailed technical specifications migration roadmaps and conduct rigorous testing to ensure zero disruption
  6. Mentorship Guide junior engineers and team members through the migration process

Required Technical Skills

  1. AutoSys Expertise 10 years of experience in AutoSys Workload Automation administration configuration and troubleshooting
  2. AWS Cloud Skills 3 years of experience with AWS services EC2 S3 RDS IAM VPC CloudFormation
  3. Migration Experience Proven track record of successful infrastructure migration from onpremise to AWS
  4. Scripting Proficiency in Bash Python or PowerShell
  5. Database Knowledge of SQL and experience with AWS database migration RDSPostgreSQL

Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
  2. Strong understanding of network security including VPN tunnels or Direct Connect
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
