Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Quality Assurance Manager job in Erie, PA for our client, an established manufacturer with a reputation for stability and standout benefits. In this role, you will lead the quality function, driving continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives across a heavy machining environment. You will oversee ISO 9000-2015 development and implementation, manage supplier quality, and ensure compliance with military specifications and statistical process controls. Responsibilities for the Quality Manager job in Erie, PA include:

  • Lead and administer the quality management system, including corrective action, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of military specifications and supplier quality management; ERP/MRP experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Preferred: arc welding experience, metallurgical background, and familiarity with government/military contracts and MRP systems
  • This position is subject to ITAR compliance: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status; ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire; visa sponsorship or C to C is not available for this position.
