Observability and AI Ops Architect, Senior

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in both AI technologies and Enterprise performance monitoring. This role combines strategic AI advising with hands-on observability engineering to support government initiatives and enterprise monitoring solutions. Combining observability and AI skills, you will lead efforts to implement AI Ops capabilities and drive down the operational costs of running an enterprise IT organization while increasing the overall system availability by leveraging AI to triage and resolve incidents, making suggestions to human counterparts and avoiding incidents altogether.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with integration engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in an AI Architect or consultant role
  • Experience in developing governance frameworks for AI initiatives
  • Experience with Enterprise monitoring tools
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of the AI landscape, including generative AI and emerging technologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Master's degree in a Computer Science or Electronics Engineering field and 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 20+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with VA systems
  • Experience with ServiceNow Visual Task Boards
  • Knowledge of ChatGPT, CoPilot, Llama2, or other AI applications
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior leadership
  • Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, and AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
