As a Senior Engineer, Continuous Improvement, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving value streams. You will design lean systems, influence cross-functional teams, and execute improvement initiatives to continuously drive top performance from our production system. This is an onsite position at Stryker PV in Irvine, CA. **Additional responsibilities:*** Lead value stream mapping workshops and kaizen events* Oversee future state implementation* Monitor & improve lean metrics (lead time, changeover time, inventory levels, etc.)* Evaluate / design and implement process and process flow improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, while maintaining or improving product quality* Partner with Finance associates to quantify CI cost reductions* Personally execute improvements* Coach others in Lean concepts* Work closely and collaboratively with members of other teams in a fast-paced environment* Identify root causes of issues, determine potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements* Follow the company’s standards for process development, quality and safety* Support New Product Introduction and/or Legacy product Ramp-Up plans.* Contribute to infrastructure configuration to ensure optimal efficienciesWhat you need-* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required* 2+ years of relevant work experience required* Experience working in Medical Device or a highly regulated industry required* Certification in Lean manufacturing - preferred* Ability to identify waste, formulate action plans and drive improvement – preferred* Shingijutsu methodology experience or similar – highly preferred$89,400 - $148,900 USD AnnualTravel Percentage: 0%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
