Job description

Location: Conyers, GA
Salary: Based on Experience

Shift: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
The General Laborer position will manually perform general labor as directed by the shift supervisor. They will be required to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and do not interrupt at inappropriate times. Talking to others to convey information effectively. Monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
Job Duties:
  • Assist with putting air conditioning unit accessories accordingly onto an assembly line
  • Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
  • Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
  • Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
  • Perform general physical activities such as moving or fitting heavy objects, clean rooms and work areas and load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. to 75 lbs.
  • Handling and moving objects such as package goods for shipment or storage
  • Identifying objects, actions, and events such as sorting manufacturing materials or products
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
  • Maintains open, candid, and continuous communications with personnel from all functions to ensure that essential information is disseminated to assure accomplishment of critical business objectives
  • Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
  • Making decisions and solving problems

  • Manage one's own time and the time of others
  • Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
  • Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities and materials needed to do certain work
