Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

Facility: St. Mark's Hospital
Unit: ER Lab – Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSED)
Position: Medical Technologist / Med Tech
Specialty: Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)
Shift: Night – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Contract: 13  weeks
Contract Extension: Can offer 26 weeks if the candidate is interested

Required Certification
  • MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent – REQUIRED
Job Focus

This position is specifically for a Med Tech supporting Point-of-Care Testing in a Free-Standing ER.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an ER laboratory environment and performing/supporting point-of-care testing.

Schedule
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
