Job description

Our client is looking for a hands-on Paycor HRIS Administrator / Data Administrator on a 6-month contract basis to help them manage employee data, reporting, data cleanup, and day-to-day HRIS requests. The Paycor HRIS Administrator contractor will work closely with HR, Payroll, and the management team to make sure Paycor data is accurate, consistent, and ready to be used for reporting and downstream systems.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain employee information in Paycor, including job, compensation, department, location, and organizational data.
  • Review employee records for missing, incorrect, duplicate, or inconsistent information and make corrections as needed.
  • Run recurring and ad hoc Paycor reports and prepare files for use by HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business teams.
  • Clean, organize, and validate data before it is moved into Excel, CSV files, Microsoft Fabric, or other reporting environments.
  • Help identify and resolve discrepancies between Paycor and other systems.
  • Support HR and Payroll with employee data changes and other day-to-day HRIS requests.
  • Maintain recurring reports and help improve the way data is pulled and prepared.
  • Document basic processes, reports, and data requirements so recurring tasks can be handled consistently.
  • Work with the team to improve the quality and reliability of Paycor data being used for analytics and reporting.
  • Look for opportunities to reduce manual data entry and improve recurring processes.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience working in Paycor or another HRIS.
  • Strong data entry and data quality skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with Excel and CSV files and large amounts of employee data.
  • Experience with HR, payroll, HRIS, or people data preferred.
  • Able to identify data issues, research the cause, and follow through to resolution.
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
  • Experience with reporting, data integrations, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or workflow automation is a plus.

This is a hands-on contractor role focused on getting the work done, maintaining clean and accurate data, and helping reduce the amount of manual HRIS data work required by the internal team.
