Job Summary: The Cultivation Technician will be reporting to the Cultivation Lead. They will be responsible to support the Cultivation Lead responsibilities and ensure all work is completed on daily basis. Vacancy Status: This posting is new headcount. Multiple positions available. Employment Type: Contract from March/April to November 27, 2026Shift: 4, 10-hour shifts per week (rotating days); 7:00am - 5:00pm.Compensation: $20.00/hr Main Duties:Responsible for taking care of plants which includes:oHand watering, spacing, cloning, pruning, transplanting, leafing, tying, harvestingoInspect plants and bud product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediatelyoMaintain batch recordsApply pesticide spray to crop in accordance to licencing regulations oInspect product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediatelyoFollow product labels, determine label ratesoClean and disinfect equipmentWork cohesively with coworkerso Keep a tidy and organized working area and ensure personnel within their team are as welloResponsible for communicating and supporting with Cultivation Technicians and/or other Cultivation Personnel of work that is required to be completed on a daily basisCommunicate with managementoAccept processing guidance from Assistant Growers and Master GrowerComply with Quality Assurance SOPs, policies, and guidelinesWork in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA, 2000) Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while consistently wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe and compliant work environmentFollow the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and any new revisions Other duties as requiredQualifications and Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent education.Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in agricultural or horticultural workReliable transportation required.A valid pesticide license required.Must be able to lift 25 pounds, as required.Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and withstand exposure to outdoor elements.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
