Job description

We are looking for an experienced Java Kafka Developer for a FULL-TIME opportunity.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is a Full-Time position. C2C / Corp-to-Corp candidates and vendors will NOT be considered.

📍 Location: Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH (Cleveland preferred) / Dallas, TX
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

🔑 Required Skills
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with Kafka Producers and Consumers
  • Strong understanding of Kafka Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups, and Schemas
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Experience developing event-driven applications
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs
  • Strong SQL and database experience
  • Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL
  • Hands-on experience with XML and JSON
  • Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Banking / Financial Services experience
  • Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant, and performance-sensitive Kafka/Java applications
