Description: Development and maintenance of java integration adapters communicating with network elements. Become an expert on the network discovery and reconciliation tool

Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements for new adapter and data development

Support System and UAT testing

Advise senior leadership, business stakeholders, and application developers on requirements, design, and development for the platform.

Quickly learn Frontiers business processes surrounding network inventory, network provisioning, service qualification, and facility assignment

Ability to deliver projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment, attend and contribute to internal technical meetings

Successful candidate will have high standards for service to users/customers and be team oriented.

Software Skills:

Web Skills: basic HTML, XML, JavaScript, and SOAP/REST web services

Language/Framework: Java, Eclipse, Application Servers (Weblogic), SQL

Databases: Oracle

SDLC: Agile-Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall

Toolsets (experience with one or more): Hawkeye, DBU, X-Analysis, Rational Developer

Required Skills:

Software development experience with Java & SQL

Excellent Telecom domain knowledge

Excellent OSS domain knowledge, particularly network planning and network & service inventory management

Ability to work with customers, sales, support, product management, partners and in a virtual team

Experience with multiple network interface technologies - e.g. SNMP, TL1, CORBA

Experience with J2EE and other general programming technologies - e.g. SOAP, JMS, XML

Experience with Oracle Design Studio and Eclipse IDE

Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems, Oracle Database and Middleware

Bachelors degree in relevant discipline or 4 years of experience

Expertise with system integration using APIs, web services, java, XML and other integration technologies

Experience interfacing with network element management systems.
