TITLE: Java Developer
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Participate as a key member of the agile team, providing the necessary technical expertise and guidance for delivering best-in-class technical solutions. Contribute to software process improvement practices by writing great code. Act as a technical subject matter expert for debit application portfolio applications. Analyze business and functional requirements to understand system and operational impacts. Analyze, design, program, debug, test and modify software enhancements and/or new products for Fiserv networks and processing platforms. Identify and recommend changes in software applications and interfaces, processes and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 2 years in any job title involving experience designing, developing and implementing web and Java batch software applications. Prior experience must include 2 years in the following: Working with financial applications using Java, C, Angular, and Spring Boot; Producing and consuming REST APIs; Developing applications with Oracle Relational databases; Collaborating with Security and Networking in support of application development; Working in end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipelines; Working within the Financial services settlement and reporting industry; Working with end-users to create technical requirements; Supporting Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) financial settlement applications; and Working with Cloud platforms using OpenShift or Cloud Foundry.
