The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java-based enterprise architectures, Microsoft Azure, and legacy-to-modern data platform transformation.
This role will drive target-state architecture, modernization strategies, migration roadmaps, technical governance, and stakeholder engagement for mission-critical enterprise applications.
The individual will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership, enabling organizations to accelerate digital transformation while ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Application Modernization & Architecture
• Lead assessment and modernization of legacy applications, monolithic systems, and distributed platforms.
• Define modernization strategies including Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Rearchitect, and Rebuild approaches.
• Design scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures leveraging microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns, and domain-driven design.
• Create target-state architecture, reference architectures, architecture runway, and modernization roadmaps.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and technology rationalization exercises.
Java Technology Leadership
• Architect enterprise-scale solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, REST APIs, and modern integration frameworks.
