Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join their rapidly growing team!
Description

Technical Writer Level 1is a junior-level role responsible for preparing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, manuals, and operational publications. Candidates should have experience gathering technical information, writing clear and accurate content, and managing internal documentation libraries. This role requires strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio in support of mission-focused environments.


Required Skills
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals andtechnical publications
  • Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents, gather technical information, prepares written text
  • Maintain a current internal documentation library
  • Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
  • Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • BS Degree + 2years exp.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75K - $105K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
