Job description

We are seeking a Systems Analyst / Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs
  • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
  • Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
  • Document all programming tasks and procedures
  • Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in software development on IBM I using RPG and RPGILE
  • Knowledge of RPG, ILE, CL, SQL are a MUST.
  • Familiarity with HTTP, XML, JSON.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Please do not apply without 5+ years experience in RPG and RPGILE.

We purchase retail installment sales contracts primarily from franchised automobile dealerships secured by late model used vehicles and, to a lesser extent, new vehicles. We fund these contract purchases on a long-term basis primarily through the securitization markets and service the contracts over their lives. Our operational headquarters are located in Irvine, California and we have four additional strategically located servicing branches in Nevada, Virginia, Florida and Illinois.
