Job description

Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Up to 80% travel including International

KRB Machinery is an employee-owned manufacturer of rebar machinery that bends, cuts, and moves rebar for construction projects around the globe. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment where employees have a stake in our success.
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to our mission of building world-class rebar fabrication equipment that is long-lasting, safe to operate, easy to use and with outstanding support.  If you are technically skilled, passionate about customer service, and ready to travel, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to install and maintain rebar handling machinery at customer sites.
  • Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Train customers on the safe operation and maintenance of KRB equipment.
  • Document service activities, including installations, repairs, and training sessions.
  • Communicate patiently with customers and internal teams to ensure high service standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Ability to work weekends and travel internationally for weeks at a time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • Successful applicants undergo a standard background check and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the rebar or construction machinery industry.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming or controls systems.
