As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in managing a diverse range of patients, providing exceptional internal medicine care while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Document patient progress in electronic health records accurately
  • Participate in cases and rounds with hospital staff
  • Address patient and family concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Valid medical license in the state of Tennessee
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of hospitalist or relevant clinical experience

Average Daily Census: 160 patients

Average Daily Rounding: 18-22 patients

Will round in the ICU

Vent management required

Support Staff: NP, Intensivist NP, Intensivist MD, and on-site administrative support

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
