Title: I&E designer
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Designer with 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries. The candidate should have strong expertise in AutoCAD 2D drafting, SPI/InTools, and Electrical & Instrumentation design in compliance with API, NEC, and NFPA standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Instrumentation & Electrical design drawings using AutoCAD and SPI/InTools.
  • Prepare loop drawings, hook-up drawings, JB drawings, instrumentation layouts, control room FTAs, and electrical layouts.
  • Create low-voltage electrical drawings including one-line diagrams, grounding/earthing layouts, area classification, and power layouts.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, operations teams, vendors, and offshore design teams for project execution and design reviews.
  • Review and validate deliverables before client submission.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in AutoCAD 2D, SPI, and InTools.
  • Knowledge of NEC/NFPA, API standards, and EPC/EPCm projects.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects.
  • Familiarity with Aveva 3D and Electrical & Instrumentation drafting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certification in Instrumentation & Electrical Design.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
