Job description

EGS is seeking experienced Electrical Designers to support large-scale commercial and/or DOE projects in Lenexa, KS AND Oak Ridge, TN.  These positions will support complex electrical design activities in a multi-discipline environment utilizing AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for 2D drafting / drawing creation (experience required).  

These are long-term (3 to 4 year) contract positions and come with top competitive rates and great benefits.   For exceptional candidates outside these areas who are willing to relocate limited per diem is available.  Must be US Citizen.

Qualifications: 
  • 15+ year background in electrical design
  • Commercial nuclear and/or DOE experience required
  • Experience preferred in Smart Plant 3D for modeling electrical equipment / commodities and circuit routing
  • Experience preferred in Smart Plant Instrumentation for data entry and circuit writing
  • Ability to obtain DOE Q clearance or unescorted access at commercial nuclear sites
