Job Title:ย Quality Inspector Iย 

Location:ย Englewood, Colorado (100% Onsite)

Duration:ย 6+ Months

Pay Rate: $22/hr on W2

Position Overview

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-progress, assemblies, and finished medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. This role supports product release activities through detailed inspections, measurements, documentation, and adherence to medical device quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of medical device components and assemblies.
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements according to documented specifications.
  • Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, dial indicators, CMMs, and vision systems.
  • Complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately.
  • Identify and document non-conforming products and support product disposition activities.
  • Monitor calibration status of inspection equipment.
  • Assist with product labeling, packaging, document control, scanning, filing, and inventory organization as needed.
  • Follow established quality procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with 1-2 years of Quality Inspection experience (Associate Degree preferred).
  • Experience using dimensional measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and dial indicators.
  • Basic blueprint/print reading skills and understanding of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect small precision components.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and Vision Inspection Systems.
  • Knowledge of machined components and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in medical device, aerospace, precision manufacturing, or regulated environments.
