We seek Senior Geologist | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0013012] candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as DOI. Provide services and support as a Senior Geologist [Department of the Interior (DOI) Dam Operator Training] in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of the Interior (DOI) | Bureau of Reclamation, Dam Safety Office, Denver Federal Center Generally Located In CONUS - Denver, Colorado and across the Western United States Region (Of Country/World).

Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum crafting tailored, high-quality course content that educates, engages, and empowers learners with precision and purpose.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Senior Geologist | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0013012]

• Provides geological analysis of dam sites and materials. Develops instructional content on rock/soil properties, abutment conditions, and seepage pathways. Supports field exercises identifying geologic indicators of dam distress.  Connects geology to Dam performance-materials, defects, and site conditions operators must recognize. Teach rock/soil identification, abutment conditions, karst/solution features, seepage paths; contribute to site-specific appendices; field-day coaching on geologic indicators.

Desired Qualifications For Senior Geologist | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0013012] (DOI0013012) Candidates:

10+ years applied geology in Dams/water infrastructure; experience with geologic mapping and defect identification at Dams.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• BS Geology required; PG licensure preferred; MS a plus.
• 10+ years applied geology in Dams/water infrastructure; experience with geologic mapping and defect identification at Dams.
• This position aligns with functional and technical requirements in the Government And Public Services Sector and Senior Geologist Candidates principally support Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum Functional Area / Swim Lane / Category Disciplines.

Skills Required

• Primarily focused on Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services initiatives and aligned with Training activities Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum Functional Area Activities. 
• Field mapping, petrography basics, photographic documentation, GIS familiarity, instruction.

Competencies Required

• Observation rigor, environmental awareness, clear documentation.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Develops laminated geologic features ID sheets for operators.
• Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.  All personnel must possess an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Interim TS/SCI or a full TS/SCI clearance in DISS at the time of proposal submission and maintain it throughout the contract. Compliance with FAR 52.204-2 and DoD security requirements (DD Form 254, DD Form 441, and DoD 5220.22-M) is mandatory. Employees denied a Top Secret clearance after receiving an Interim TS will be restricted from contract duties, but this does not relieve ProSidian from performance obligations.
