Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting, requiring an active GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of nursing experience.

Job Details

  • Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility setting, working on the 4th floor nursing unit,
  • Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts,
  • 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand,
  • Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required,
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

Additional Information

  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year; if returning to the same facility, a separation of 18 months is required,
  • RTO is capped at 5 days if not on or near a holiday, and 3 days if on or near a holiday,
  • Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract,
  • RTO during holiday periods must be spread out and will not be approved as consecutive days
