Job description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Industrial Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Clifton Park/Half Moon, NY surrounding area.

Salary: $54,080 - 62,400 

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors, sorters, and other production equipment
  • Perform PMs, some installations, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (as well as some welding & fabrication)
  • Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and electrical components while reading blueprints and manuals
  • Document completed work and keep equipment operating safely with minimal downtime

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Experience performing maintenance in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with experience on conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics (welding experience preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints or electrical and hydraulic manuals
  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude who takes pride in quality work
