Scotsman Guide is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our new business development team. In this role, you’ll focus on bringing new advertising clients -primarily lenders - onto our platform by actively prospecting new opportunities and working inbound leads.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on building pipelines, chasing opportunities, and closing deals. You’ll own the sales process from the first conversation to contract, then hand off to our Account Management team. This is a B2B inside-sales role where success comes from strong prospecting, smart outreach, and the ability to turn conversations into long-term partnerships.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and achieve/surpass monthly goals through individual sales activities.
- Establish and develop business relationships with prospective new advertisers by responding to inbound leads and working other prospects.
- Research and communicate with prospects to determine their business needs and how Scotsman Guide can help them.
- Educate prospective advertisers about the Scotsman Guide product portfolio and value propositions using various technologies (telephone, video conference, webinar, etc.).
- Prepare and present sales communications (proposals, quotes, etc.).
- Record and maintain client accounts and related sales activities in CRM.
- Track individual sales progress for assigned prospects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years of inside sales experience (preferably B2B) with demonstrated track record of achieving sales and revenue targets. Key account management experience a plus.
- Experience in advertising sales and/or the mortgage-lending industry is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills required.
- Proficient in word processing, creating, and maintaining spreadsheets and proposals, web browsing to conduct client research, and updating CRM database.
- Familiarity with PipeDrive CRM preferred.
