Our client is a leading provider of medical imaging systems. We are looking to add someone to this team who can share in the company's passion for commitment to provide high-value technology to their customers. This company has worldwide reach with a long-standing local footprint.
Position Details:
Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Location: East Rochester/Penfield, NY
Hours: 11am-7:30pm (Monday-Friday - with occasional overtime).
Pay: $19.00/hr
Duration: Contract for up to 1 year with intention of converting to permanent.
Who We're Looking For:
Candidate with Forklift experience to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Experience should include picking stock, using handheld scanners, loading and unloading materials. A team player, with good communication skills and a mind for safety.
What to Expect as a Forklift Operator:
  • Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision
  • Picking stock
  • Light manufacturing
  • Building pallets for shipment
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Ordering, storing and delivering supplies
  • Using hand scanners
  • Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications for Success:
  • High School Diploma or GED/HSE OR 1 yr of warehouse experience required
  • Fork Truck License/Certification preferred
  • Need steel toe safety shoes
  • Basic mathematic skills
  • Prior Warehouse/Dock experience
  • Detail oriented with time management skills
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook
  • SAP knowledge is preferred
