Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-end custom architectural millwork manufacturing facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing production, coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring quality standards, supervising production personnel, and driving operational efficiency from engineering through final production.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in custom millwork manufacturing, strong technical knowledge of woodworking processes, and proven leadership skills in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a custom architectural millwork manufacturing facility.

• Coordinate production schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications for accuracy and manufacturability.

• Supervise production staff and maintain an efficient workflow.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to resolve production challenges.

• Monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process.

• Improve production methods and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures.

• Manage multiple custom millwork projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing a custom architectural millwork or cabinetry manufacturing facility.

• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Cabinet Vision.

• Strong ability to interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents.

• Thorough understanding of woodworking machinery, manufacturing processes, and production planning.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple high-end custom projects simultaneously.
