Job description

Job Summary 

Shepherd’s Hollow is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our exceptional team as Line Cooks and Prep Cooks. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and upholding our commitment to excellence. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude and a dedication to superior service. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Compensation

Competitive compensation starting at $17 - $20/hour based on experience. 

Supplemental pay through tips provided for work during banquet events. 

Responsibilities

  • Consistent excellence in food preparation.

  • Adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.

  • Complete daily tasks, such as setting up the line and preparing quality meals for guests, with effort and dedication.

  • Assist the Chefs as needed. 

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for applicants who are:

  • Friendly and Outgoing: Able to interact positively with guests and staff.

  • Self-Motivated: Proactive in identifying and completing tasks without constant supervision.

  • A Team Player: Willing to collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

  • Detail-Oriented: Able to efficiently handle multiple support tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 

  • Prior experience in restaurant service is preferred (1 year minimum) 

  • Basic knowledge of professional cooking and experience in knife handling (1 year minimum) 

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as weekends.
