Job description

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily front-of-office operations for a contract position based in Boulder, Colorado. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping create an organized, welcoming, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, attentive, and comfortable managing reception activities while handling multiple incoming requests throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive and detail-oriented front desk experience.
• Manage a multi-line phone system by answering, screening, and routing incoming calls in a timely manner.
• Provide front office support by handling routine receptionist tasks and maintaining an orderly reception area.
• Assist visitors, employees, and external contacts with general questions and concierge-style support as needed.
• Monitor daily front desk activity and help coordinate communications between departments and incoming guests.
• Take accurate messages and relay important information promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Support administrative needs related to reception coverage and day-to-day office coordination.• Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence handling a high volume of inbound calls.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a courteous and service-oriented approach to guests and callers.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable attendance and a detail-oriented demeanor when representing the office at the front desk.
