RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) in Lansing, MI.
Overview
A technology-focused organization is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level applications. This role requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to solve complex problems, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a development team. The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend systems to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern development frameworks and tools
* Build and optimize backend services using Java-based technologies and enterprise frameworks
* Develop responsive frontend components and user interfaces using modern web technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues within application environments
* Analyze system performance and apply profiling or optimization techniques where needed
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards
* Support deployment, integration, and ongoing improvements to development and delivery processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack software development
* Strong proficiency in Core Java and J2EE technologies
* Deep understanding of JVM architecture and application profiling techniques
* Experience working with the Spring Framework
* Frontend development experience with Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js
* Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for building responsive web interfaces
* Experience building RESTful services using frameworks such as Jersey
* Strong database experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts

Preferred (Nice to Have):
* Experience with Unix environments and shell scripting
* Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
* Experience working with caching technologies such as Memcached or Redis

* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
* Understanding of DevOps practices and development lifecycle automation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
