Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a home health opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate competence in providing patient care in a home environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct skilled home visits for patients with various diagnoses including med/surg, cardiac, orthopedic, post-surgical, and respiratory conditions.
  • Perform evaluations, assessments, and create individualized care plans for patients.
  • Manage medication administration and provide patient education.
  • Document patient care and update health records as per agency protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required, preferably in home health.
  • Current registered nurse license in Florida or compact state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • OASIS training preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a car for home visits.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or religious/medical exemption on file is mandatory.
  • Flu shot required or a declination form; mask-wearing while at work is mandatory.
