Job description

Join Fisher Investments' Technology & Transformation organization and help modernize the systems that power how we buy, contract, and pay. As a Senior SAP Developer on our Corporate Services Technology team, you'll build and improve scalable procurement solutions on the SAP Ariba platform that support firm-wide operations and global growth. If you enjoy solving meaningful business problems, partnering closely with partners, and delivering reliable enterprise applications, you will be a great fit.

The Opportunity:

You will design, build, and support SAP Ariba solutions that ensure efficient sourcing, contracting, buying, invoicing, and supplier management across the firm. You'll lead technical delivery end to end—translating our needs into clear technical designs, partnering with many teams, and delivering high-quality solutions that are secure, maintainable, and scalable. You will report to the Application Development Group Manager and work closely with Corporate Services team members, architects, developers, and vendors to guide shared outcomes.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lead the technical delivery of SAP Ariba solutions from design through testing and go-live

  • Translate requirements into technical design specifications, estimates, and delivery plans

  • Configure and develop across SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Buying & Invoicing) to meet internal needs

  • Build and maintain integrations between Ariba and SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems (including data flows and CIG/middleware)

  • Contribute to technical direction and architecture decisions, balancing speed, quality, and long-term platform health

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, identify causes, and implement durable fixes across configuration and custom solutions

  • Partner with product owners, team members, QA, and other engineers to deliver outcomes in an Agile environment

  • Mentor peers through code/design reviews and knowledge sharing

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing, configuring, and delivering SAP Ariba solutions in an enterprise environment

  • Hands-on experience across main Ariba modules (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, Buying & Invoicing)

  • Experience translating needs into clear technical designs and lead delivery through testing, deployment, and support

  • Strong experience with Ariba solution architecture and configuration/ customization best practices

  • Experience integrating Ariba with SAP S/4HANA and related tools (e.g., CIG/middleware) including master and transactional data flows

  • Working knowledge of procurement and invoicing processes and relevant SAP MM/FI integration points

  • Experience partnering with technical and non-technical team members

If you're excited about this role but don't meet every qualification, we still encourage you to apply.

Why Fisher Investments:

We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe. We take great pride in our inclusive culture, our learning and development framework customized for every employee, and our Great Place to Work Certification. • Family Support programs including 8 week Paid Primary Caregiver Leave, $10,000 fertility, family forming, and hormonal health assistance, and back-up child, adult, and elder care
  • This is an in-office role. Based on your role, tenure, and performance eligibility you may have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work from home program. This program is subject to change.
