Position Description:
Redhorse Corporation is seeking an Encroachment Program Coordinator to work on task with the U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF). The USFF is responsible for coordinating, establishing, and implementing integrated requirements and policies for manning, equipping, and training Atlantic and Pacific Fleet units, strike groups, and strike forces. This role will provide comprehensive operational and environmental support for Fleet training range complexes and operations while meeting OFRP requirements and adhering to governmental environment laws, acts, statutes, and policies.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Provide environmental planning and encroachment support to CNAF.
  • Coordinate with USFF, PACFLT, USN Region Southwest, and local range management and user communities.
  • Other duties as designated in support of environmental training operations and supporting CNAF in responding to encroachment issues.
  • Secret Clearance to review new training and testing requirements and CONOPS, review numbered fleet After Action Reports, and review status and capabilities of new weapon technology.
Requirements for Experience, Skills, Education and Credentials include:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations that may impact DoD training and testing.
  • Experience developing environmental planning documentation.
  • Staff experience in USN Fleet training, operational planning and exercise implementation highly desired (e.g., USFF or PACFLT staff, numbered fleet 24 staffs, type commander billets, commander strike force training staff, tactical staff, commander USN region staff, and FACSFAC staff).
  • Former military officer with minimum of twenty (20) years relevant service or equivalent civilian experience in operational military billets.
  • Ability to work many projects autonomously with minimal staff support.
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, physical science, environmental, or equivalent experience.
  • An active Secret clearance is required.
