Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalency.

1 year of machine shop operations experience. Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.

Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.), as well as measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.).

Basic understanding of mathematical principles (conversions to decimal system, geometry, basic math, etc.).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Operate CNC equipment.

Operate any time and size of single spindle or multiple spindles on a variety of operations (drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, spot facing, countersinking, etc.).

Use all tools, jigs, figures, and gauges necessary to perform operations.

Work with close tolerances and fine finishes.

Perform tool offset and load parts.

Perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements.

Participate in, and support, team initiatives.

Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.

Report problems to appropriate resources and/or Coach.

Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products.

Participate in and support team initiatives.

Receive guidance from experienced employees.

Understand and abide by the GE behaviors.

Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications & Characteristics:

1-3 years' machine shop experience in a manufacturing environment.

Prior education/training in machine shop operations.

Prior experience in a self-directed teaming environment.

Physical Demands:

Continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.

Continuously sit.

Occasionally bend, stop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance.

Occasionally lift up to 20lbs and push/pull up to 22lbs.

This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations, working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

The pay for this position is $23/hr. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 7/31/26.
