Job description

The Research Engineer 2 will play an integral part of the COSMIAC organization and will coordinate the work of the engineering team ensuring that all science requirements are met by hardware and payload design. The candidate provides a engineering background for research on spaceflight missions for grants and contracts awarded to a principal investigator. Individual will collect, develop, analyze, communicate, and consult on a wide range of space-based data and other requirements.

They will perform applied research, design, and execute a wide-ranging analytical and statistical studies. Provides functionalleadership, training, and guidance to other researchers, as appropriate.
